About Chris
I earned my Doctorate in Psychology from the University of Denver in 1998. Since then I have treated adolescents, adults and couples with a variety of problems, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and addictions. I have worked with outstanding athletes, helping them improve their performance. Much of my career has been spent working with police officers and people involved in every level of the criminal justice system. I continue to provide trainings for both sworn and unsworn members of that system.
My current clinical work is focused on aiding people struggling with life problems, helping them overcome the obstacles keeping them from the lives they seek. While this often involves cognitive behavioral techniques, sometimes my job is just to listen.
I was an Adjunct Professor at the University of Denver’s Graduate School of Professional Psychology for 12 years, teaching in both the Forensic and Clinical Psychology programs.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and playing tennis.
